Available Adults
From time to time we have adults available for sale. These are dogs that we kept as puppies to continue on in our breeding program. They have been extensively socialized, treated like family members, been house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and some have champion and/or performance titles. Since we can only keep so many, we have to make tough decisions at times and decide to place some of our dogs because they would be happier in families with more one on one attention or because they prefer not being our next show/performance dog and a quieter life becomes them better. Lavinia is a 2 year old Black Tri girl that is looking for experienced Australian Shepherd owners that appreciate a dog with a sense of humor and that understand that some Aussies prefer their own people over strangers. Once she has warmed up to you, she will do anything asked of her. Lavinia gets along with dogs and would enjoy the company in her new home, but will do fine as an only dog.
She did not grow up with young children, so a home with either no children or older children (12 and up ) would be best suited for her. She is house trained, crate trained, walks politely on leash and knows basic commands. She is a wonderful dog that is only being placed as we have decided to down size.
